I don't know if this is fitting for this forum or not...but here goes anyways. I've always thought about those nails that were driven into the hands of Jesus and His feet and I wrote this.

Three Nails

This is a story about three special nails,
Made for just one man,
A man like no other, there were many tales,
As He walked throughout the land.

He preached on love, He preached on sin,
As He searched for His twelve,
Twelve disciples to serve, two of which were kin,
In the land in which they dwell.

He preached on the Mount, of all the blessings,
Which were given unto man,
The many loaves and fishes, and the confessings,
To people throughout the land.

Pontius Pilate, said one,"This man is a fake."
And He must face trial,
He sought out His innocence, a disciple on the take,
And another in denial.

He lost His trial by seeking the truth,
Now He must die on a cross,
What man hath done by being uncouth,
Now will be his loss.

He beared the cross, on His shoulder with pain,
As the people did taunt,
The pain He bore, from the looks of disdain,
Wearily up the hill he jaunt.

They layed Him down, with outstretched arms,
In a hurry to no avail,
They took His pride, they took His charm,
With three special nails.

With each solid whack, the hammer did wail,
As the skies started to turn dark,
They stood Him straight up after the third nail,
Thunder rolled at a moments lark.

Three special nails, one in His left, one in His right,
Each with a meaning of its own,
The last one hammered with all their might,
In His feet, He stands alone.

One for the Father, one for the Holy Ghost,
And one just for Him,
With His resurrection, He will be your host,
Died on the cross for your sin.

Remember those nails, as He endured the pain,
The pain from each one,
Hanging there with tears, in the pouring rain,
God gave His only begotten Son.

Wow. Truly beautifull.
