I'm in no way no expert, try defragging the cpu, go to internet options and clear cookies and if she has a spy hunter or such run that and then try it and then see what happens, you might even check the firewall settings. Like i said, no expert, just hoping to help.

my friends had warned me before i got online to download music and video to ciscs and not let the hard-drives memory get clogged up with the stuff. it slows things down and makes the pc work too hard. My son uses our pc for his my space and that site clogs up and slows everything down too.

Try cleaning it up and then go back to (you-tube) if that does not work try taking it out and re-downloading it sometimes it might be the internet... If it stills does it it might not be the computer it could be the saver and if you have dial-up it is going to run slow DSL and cable is your best bet!!!!!!!

You answered the question to the problem yourself when you said "lol dial up". With the size of audio & video today, dial up will "choke" (most) everytime as these files are presented in their raw/native format.

People don't write apps for, or compress audio/video files for dial up compatibitly anymore.

Its impossible to watch videos on you tube with dial up . Ive had dial up the past 4 months and its HORRIBLE ! I cant do anything . I did manage to watch one video but I had to leave the computer connected all night with the video up so it could download and buffer and all that jazz but it still got a little choppy .

yes that is the only reason that it is so choppy, dial up is too slow for a streaming connection like that, the only possible cure is to juice up the computers memory(ram) to it max, and that might help some.
