I live in a dorm. We're a pretty close community of students who have lived together for about 3 years (some have come and gone, and new ones appear each semester) and so we feel pretty comfortable leaving our doors open unless we've left the building. Lately, this has become a bit of a problem because someone in the building has started changing computer's home pages to www.meatspin.com (do not go to it unless you are ready for a shock). OK...so this might have been funny for the first couple of days but now it's just too much. Is there any way to disable changing my homepage?

I am not sure if there is a way to disable the homepage changes, but you can always password protect your computer.

If you have Internet Explorer you can go to Tools and then Internet Options and that will allow you to change your homepage. You might get some help at annoyances.org

If you leave your computer on all the time put a password protection on your screen saver.
