I recently watched "Fury Road" and wow was it good. Lots of action and things blowing up. Tom Hardy wasn't bad to look at either. ;D

I recently ditched cable TV because it got so expensive. I miss it a lot but can't afford to go back to it. I got a Roku box and currently have Hulu. I've seen a few movies, mostly with Bill Murray in them because I really like him. "Life Aquatic" sucked in my opinion. It was difficult to watch the entire movie but I did. Sooooo dull, sooooo slow. So un-Bill Murray-ish.
A lot of movies aren't free on Hulu as I found out and I am not about to pay for them. I have watched some free movies though that I downloaded and am not going to tell you that I downloaded them from Pirate Bay. Oops.
Believe it or not, Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp is a really good movie. I didn't think it would be but I really enjoyed it. Maybe it's because Johnny Depp is my celebrity crush. Not all of his movies are good but a lot are. Edward Scissorhands of course, Pirates of the Caribbean but how many of those movies are they going to make anyway? Ugh.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was good. Sleepy Hollow was good and would be a good movie to watch tonight. I think my favorite movie of his is "Secret Window". Really good.
I've seen Interstellar with Matthew McConaughey and even though I don't care for him much, the movie was really good. Totally unbelievable though.
When I am looking for a movie to watch I usually type into Google: "best recent movies to watch" or something like that.

Oh, "Looper" was really good. Check it out.

Luckily I live in Europe and that wides bit the scope of the films I watch...

I would recommend some Peter Greenaway films:
-A Zed and two Noughts.
-Drowning by Numbers
-The Belly of an Architect
-The draughtsman contract.

A great Italian film:
-Mediterraneo.

War films like:
-"Joyeux Noël" a french film about WW1 (from 2005)
-Beneath Hill 60. Australian about WW1.. Like Gallipoli, also a good one (with a young Mel Gibson)

And some crazy ones like:
-Moon (2009)
-Love (2011)
-Delicatessen (crazy "cannibal" film) (1991)
-Bunraku
-Enter the Void
-Pi (1998)
-Brazil (but I suppose that most of you know this one - but if you don't remember a Robert de Niro in the film, better check it again)

A bit difficult ones but check also the Chilean director Alejandro Jodorowski
