Hi. I asked for a look see at my profile when I first joined and got no feedback. I am guessing there is something not so good or I would have received replies. So, what could it be?

I read your profile as if it was a guys and here are my comments...
I honestly think it could be the "recent widow" part. My thought was "that could be a lot to deal with, how much support is needed. I'm not saying to take that out, as it is a major part of who you are, but perhaps take it off your opening line and move it further down your bio (to where you mention the years of marriage). So you are still being open, but it's not the first thing they see. I feel that way, people will continue reading and become interested in you before they get that length.

Instead of saying you are trying to find the new you, why not say you would like more friends? There are plenty of people on here looking for friendship. The 'new you' comment implies any conversation will just be a stepping stone until you figure yourself out and then they will be forgotten.

A couple of your sentences are very short; "I love...", both of these are already mentioned in your interests. If there is nothing more to elaborate, I don't think it's necessary to mention them again.

I love the poem at the end, it shows that you are deep and thoughtful, and looking for something more meaningful than random chatter. It will take a while for the deep and considerate guys to find you though, so be patient.

I feel your profile shows what you are looking for, which will ward off any comments from people you wouldn't be interested in, without being too direct, good work there!

Overall it is good.

Change loosing to losing and eliminate the sentence about not liking drama. People will either be drama filled or not. Saying you don't like drama is not going to eliminate the possibility. There is zero need to draw any attention to this fact.

True, those who like to cause drama are usually unaware that they are doing it!

I agree with the previous comments also people are cautious about profiles with widowed listed i think adding some more pictures could be helpful good luck
