inner beauty, intelligence

looks are subjective --- I need to find someone attractive, but what I like may not be "classic" good looks to some.

I think Steven Tyler is good looking - a lot of people think he's a freak. lol

That's a bad question.

I mean let's say those are measured on a scale from 1-10.

If we ignore allllllll other variables and factors and complexity that make up a person and what motivates people to date and mate and come up with an importance level like "looks 8 of 10, inner beauty 7.999 out of 10, and intelligence 7.998 out of 10," then to answer your question I'd say "Looks, physical attraction is most important!"

And what would your reaction be?

Would it be "I knew it! Guys only care about looks! And that proves it!"

Or would it be a worthless answer because you didn't really offer any kind of limiting factors or conditions or means to measure the difference in importance?

Not to mention, what do you think finding something "important" means in terms of behavior?

I mean I would find "pilot competence" to be extremely important if I was asked "flying home for the holidays, what do you find more important? Pilot competence, cost, or seat space?"

But I'm not calling airline companies while trying to book a flight to set up interviews with all their pilots that will be making the flight to determine their personality, their competence level, whether or not they're alcoholics. But I sure am spending a lot of time trying to find the lowest price, and trying to pick the seat with the most legroom.

So...it's not a very good question.

Any answer you get isn't going to have much meaning.

Someone who looks like they have inner beauty, tends to work. But if this is another one of those "choose looks OR personality" threads... well, those are boring, so never mind.

I wouldn't know. Anyone I've ever had a relationship with, drew me in, for different reasons.
