Have you ever been in a situation where you have big dreams for yourself in a blue collar white /corporate world, and you determined to be a big success and your mind is brilliant, you well liked by your colleagues, you making a great living and you passionate about your career. Have you ever wondered if you had a price for your success? Did I sleep with my boss to get that promotion? Did I did someone wrong to make myself a better candidate for a promotion? Or was I promise fame, fortune, & exposure in the music/movie industry? What if somebody gave you a deal you couldn't refuse? Suppose the Devil himself or your own consciousness gave you a type of deal like the one you desire? Me , personally I would never sell my name for anything, sleep with my bosses wife, cross somebody to get ahead to get success. why? well, for one, I'm 2Fly first, I have a loyalty point system that I will never compromise with. Two, I'm a loving father, a son , a brother and I'm just this way and it works. Suppose the Devil himself say, 2 fly you have a cult following on m2 and I want to put your face on cable tv host your own show. you like women right.....I give you a Halle berry look a like or Janet Jackson or heather Locklear in her prime to escort you to my elite pool party. you like money and clothes , well I give you a 100,000 dollar advance get yourself something nice for yourself. all I need form you is your name , soul and you follow my directions and you will have this asap! sign my contract and the world is yours. Minions out there what would you do? Do you have a price? tell me have you been in a situation where you was tempted for success? or would you reject because you have spine! spill the beans talk to me lets have fun with a crazy topic like this

Okay. I suggest that anyone who hasn't actually been offered a very high reward to alter their personal standards, doesn't really know the real answer.

That's not an insult, or a hint that anyone is ignorant, or anything like that. It's that I've observed myself and others for sixty years, and have never yet observed anyone who knew before an incident altered their life, how they would feel and act after the alteration took place. Earnest people always WANT to believe they know their minds well enough to do this, but it's very rare.

Anyway. For myself, my GUESS, is that I can't be bought easily, and that there are probably some things I can be bribed to do, and others that I can't.

I would wager that most people have things which they could or couldn't be bribed about, and that to a great extent, it depends on how much wealth they already have, and how many fears they suffer from.

I already know that a few things are right out for me, because I HAVE been offered such, and have discovered that my price is either very high, or incalculable. Such as sex for the sake of advantage.

Part of this for me, though, doesn't have much to do with morality. It's due to other knowledge. I know that success that is purchased, is easily and often lost. And, in my experience so far, if I CAN lose something, I WILL lose it.

So it's a bit like why I can be counted on to be honest: it's not that I am dedicated to Truth, it's that if I am not honest, I ALWAYS get caught, so I decided to give up on deception long ago.

Yes, I agree that it is hard to know for sure if not faced with it. I believe I would not sell my soul because I honestly can not think of anything I would want that badly. I am not materialistic.

The only time temptation got in my way, was when this hot guy, gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. We were both single. The feeling was mutual. I think you know what I'm getting into, here. I wouldn't put a price on it. I've never liked money for a whole bunch of reasons. When you're so physically attracted to a single man, and he's wearing a white shirt with black trousers, and offering himself to you, it's VERY hard to resist. And I'd have been daft not go through with it. .

wow, now that's crazy but I think you handle that quite well. so would you call it a indecent proposal like the movie....you was the pursuer or the sexual prey? those kinds of hard deals can be tricky, I mean at lease you was single. so to me it was just a casual encounter. no harm no file. now if you was married with children and that was your boss or landlord...well....maybe the out come would of been messy......gold star to you

I don't have a price for success......but I do have valuable skills/knowledge in my field of work that I believe had brought me up to the ladder of success. Whatever or wherever I get myself into,it's bcoz I work hard for it. I have confidence in my ability, I don't need to use people, bribery, or any deceitful tricks just to get what I want. Achievement is a fulfillment where you feel proud of yourself for attaining your goal with your effort, determination and perseverance. I am priceless but valuable, I can't be bought by anyone's money but l have self worth and self respect I've been surrounded by many temptations in my corporate world and was lucky enough that I haven't experienced any indecent proposal just to further my career, maybe because I have shown professionalism, honesty, dedication and hardwork in my job. People will recognize your worth, they may attempt to offer a price for your success or will hesitate to offer because they know you have pride in yourself and you can work your way up through your own effort.

This one's easy, at least for me anyway. I'm selfless to the point of having no self worth and I only want enough money to full fill my basic needs like three hots, a cot and a shower every day. Maybe it's the life I've lived because when all you do is waste time waiting for the end, fame, fortune and power don't have much meaning.

No I just got tired of getting thrown of the "Ladder of Success" so now I just sit at the bottom and laugh to myself as I watch people try to throw each other off.
