The following info could have been posted in our Zika thread but as the threat is turning to a real attack i say, we shake of old formalities and some of us who can; lets take stations.

for instance, i'm trying to keep the media in India alert.

source: http://www.cdc.gov/zika/geo/united-states.html

US States
• Travel-associated Zika virus disease cases reported: 258
• Locally acquired vector-borne cases reported: 0
• Of the 258 travel-associated infections, 18 are in pregnant women and 6 were sexually transmitted

US Territories
• Travel-associated cases reported: 3
• Locally acquired cases reported: 283
• Of the 283 locally acquired infections, 35 are pregnant women

Reason for highlighting is because this is not ‘just like HIV / Aids’. In Aids people died, children died and for some, a bit of us died with each one of them.

In the case of Zika, the baby born ‘looks like a human’, but may not be technically a human baby(!!)

ok, we understand, but allow me to articulate: "with Zika, the human potential is killed during the baby's development."

Source: Wiki;
The Frontal Lobe is the most recently-evolved part of the brain and the last to develop in young adulthood. It's dorso-lateral prefrontal circuit is the brain's top executive.

It would be logical to presume that a Zika virus attack on the brain would come to full force during this final stages. In other words, not only is the territory of the brain reduced: a smaller brain; but the capital that distinguishes man from animal; the frontal lobe; is consumed. (my opinion)

Needless to say, babies born so are like ships without captains; adrift for the rest of their life.

footnote:
anything that hits US today; hits the world tomorrow.

--xx--
if we look at any epidemic, it starts as an S-Curve.
slow first and then exponential!!

what we are seeing is the lower end of the S.
then it goes bizarre.

Requesting Sassy for validations.

I am really concerned for lack of a better terminology, that we will end up with " A Zombie Effect".

I am not really finding anything significant to indicate my/ our theory. But it does stand to reason, with all the top 10 diseases that effect the frontal lobe & their removing of emotion, behavior inhibitors & filters.... imo also, 'what seperates us from other animals'.
That this virus could very well be be a global destruction to 'humanness'.
Frightening.

I will post whatever I find.
Hopefully you or I or someone will post the previous link for reference.
