Great from a pure self defense point of view, in a way. But given the nature of law enforcement and fear of terrorists, this increases the chance that police will shoot to kill if someone pulls out a cell phone to record them in a confrontation, and will make it so that the courts will have to admit that their claim to fear for their lives, is potentially legitimate. Not a good idea after all. |

Not a good idea after all. Tactically, its a terrible idea. Why would anyone want to unfold a handgun? And two rounds. Better off getring a derringer...dont have to unfold it...and those are about $350 cheaper ( an article I read a few weeks ago had that cell phone gun retailed at $395...didnt read OPs link).
A snub nose revolver or one of the smaller semiautos are only a little bit bigger...just as easy to conceal, better choice of calibers, and more rounds. Looks like a novelty to me.... |

Not a good idea after all. It might cut down on the number of people constantly taking selfies after enough shoot themselves in the face. If you have a hunting license and a smartphone gun can you legally shoot people making a "duck" face? |
