Everlasting Love

Tears fall from a mother's heart
Like a river fills the sea,
God has taken a child home
Forever a home in Heaven is his to be,

Memory's fill the broken heart
With joy and pain,
Asking God why? Why Lord?
Can someone explain?

As I sleep, I toss and turn
I dream of holding your hand,
I can feel you near me,
As only a mother truly can,

The morning air blows a gentle mist
As if you are calling me from above,
Only it's God, who is sending me comfort
