This is driving me crazy. I have yahoo mail & meesenger...The thing is I always got alerts telling me when new mail arrived at the bottem of my screen...All of the sudden it doesnt work now. I asked yahoo, and they said uninstall, and reinstall messenger...It didn't work... Also yahoo has a new mail program now, and it automatically signs you into messenger...but when it does that, it cancels right back out , and says I am signed in on another computer or device....I'm not. What is going on? Any advice will be much appreciated..

I have messenger and yahoo mail also, I don't seem to be having a problem. When people come on my "buddy list", it tells me on the bottom of the screen. I don't know what happened to yours???

did it just start with you?...they told me someone could have hacked me...thats why I uninstalled, and reinstalled...this sucks

hey Puffins, the funny thing is...I still get my alerts if someone signs in on my buddy list, but not if i have new mail...I loved that feature.

I had the same problem for a few days last week, but it only lasted a few days then everything was back to normal.

It's back!!! Signed in today and alerts were back...
