Anyone ever have a 7 year old just break your heart every other Sunday about 6:00pm at the "exchange"?
I hate these days.

Did it for a year before my hubsand died? Hated every other sat for that same reason

No it has never happened to me... but I have been through it when I was younger. And at 22, I still remember how hard it was when I was that little.

I am lucky that I do not have to do the "exchange" even though the reasons why kinda suck....

Mine are with me 50% of the time and the other 50% is a pure bummer! I can relate buddy!

My plan is set though. I will get a modification done with real representation. It's motivation to keep moving forward towards the ultimate goal, having her full time. Heh, she already told her mother she wants to live with me when she turns 12. And I didn't even tell her about that!
That makes me happy....and it has nothing to do with her mother. |

actually if im correct the child doesnt have a say so untill she/he turns 16. unless your law is differnt then oregons law

yeah, I knew what this thread was about. Mine just left a short time ago...he's tough as nails for he's been thru this year.

deb, he only has custody of his daughter everyother weekend and has to send her back to her mom on sunday evenings.

 , The "exchange" is referring to joint custody of a child. It's when the child lives with on parent part of the time, and the other the rest of the time. "Exchange" is the time when the child goes from one parent to the other. |
