Good Day my beautiful friends of M2, I'm Back with a hot tea topic on what's been eating at me for quite some time now. Shots out to all who post & help me out on the topic " Whens Time To Meet Mom", thank you for support & advices. Now let's talk about voting. Lets break it down with the real definition of the word vote. its means to either approve or oppose something or who of interest in a democratic anonymous way. Now the question is " Do American lives Matter?" when it comes to who we want in office, what bill do we opposed, what law we support & ect. Here's my take on this issue here, my fellow ancestors died for the sake of the youth ( which is me), to be able to change the laws to make a better tomorrow not for us minorities but also for every American. Some say ," well the elites hand pick who they want in office anyway....". While others still believe in the power of voting with mass numbers behind us we as the people of America are the real leaders of this country due because we gave them the power by numbers. Now, Personally, I am one of the masses when it comes to my vote matters. People of M2, what if we lose the power to vote and the right & Left wingers win by landslide, we can lose it all. Our freedom, our rights, our practices, & our human soul. so let me know how do you feel about voting. Is it important to you or are you a truth seeker & the system let you down so why vote?
spill the beans whats your take! |

Your vote only matters if you can also pick the candidates. Usually your choices are put forward for you and you select from those offerings...... usually the lessor of the evils you are allowed if your lucky. This works for our current corrupt two party system that controls who can play, backed by a media that refuses to advance or cover anyone outside this corrupt system. Ron Paul ran as a Republican, Sanders as a Democrat. Why? Because as a Libertarian or an independent, with no media coverage to help garner enough exposure or public interest to get into these biased, closed debates. Even with their massive grass roots support, mostly from internet coverage, the 2 major parties govern control thru the major national media outlets, therefore, the election and your vote. At this point the obvious should be apparent to most and why this election cycle will be like none other..... Because any vote cast this cycle is most likely a protest vote against one side or the other of this corrupt system! jmo |

you are absolutely right, I can respect that point of view. maybe im too still believe the people still have the power to make a change. now we both agree the elites put whoever in office by design, and also thru bloodline as well/. |

greeneyes148,
you also right as well, lets face it, we do have 2 candidates that most folks would vote for because no matter who you choose that candidate will spark something of interest with you and you vote for them...at least that's what we all believe to be. |

its like education for me,,, the higher the price paid the more valuable something becomes
I was brought up with a strong sense of what my ancestors went through to have some type of voice,,, I could not waste a vote unless there was just no one to vote for with any positive qualities to vote for to me,, voting is a very important part of being 'productive' as a citizen |

what if we lose the power to vote
If we "lost" the power to vote I don't believe it would take all that much time before we started killing those who kept demanding tax payments. Unless we sneakily "lost" the power to vote. Where we believe voting matters but it really doesn't do anything, and in collusion with news media the illusion of democratic power perpetuates. Then I think people would just grumble, complain on the internet, and believe they'll get 'em "next time!" because they believe what they're doing matters and has relevance to self determination. we can lose it all. Our freedom, our rights, our practices, & our human soul.
Do you really believe the world works that way? That one day a guy in a black hat will show up, say "I'm taking away voting! Your freedom, your rights, your practices, and your human soul! Mwuahahahaha!" and the only way to stop them is going to be with the magic power of your vote? And you'll vote and be able to say "pshew! We conquered the forces of evil!" Freedom, rights, practices, and (I'd imagine, but have no proof since I've never seen one or heard of anyone that actually has) your human soul get whittled down just a biiiiit at a time. E.G. "Congress shall make no law...bridging the freedom of speech" Weeeeeeellll...except for hate speech, or inciting speech, or bullying speech, or gender non-recognition speech.... Or "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." Weeeeeeeelllll....except for your cell phone, or computer, or car, especially if you have over a certain amount of cash, or if you're getting on a plane, and red light cameras, and speed cameras, and surveillance devices planted at random or in public, and drones. Is it important to you
Not really. It's kind of like praying. If it doesn't matter, it doesn't hurt to do it. If it does matter, then good thing I did it. are you a truth seeker
Not as much as an honest with yourself seeker. the system let you down so why vote?
Those free pins that say you voted and are therefore better than the people with out the badge of honor. |
