(((everyone))) my 2 year old is mad at me, he had to have a shot today .. poor baby
|

yeah we talk a lot about shots here...
they have a doctor kit with a fake syringe so i let them practice on me they seem to like that! also we get flu shots every year and let the kids watch us get ours so they know we also get our shots so far they've been pretty good about it...mine are 3 & 5 |

i dont have to have another shot for 2 years.. my last shot was in 97 or 99 not supposed to have another till i'm 27 either way , so none of my kids were around when i had my last shot.. we dont mess with the flu shots .. to many kids around here have been seriously affected by them..

well it is a bit traumatic for the kids...
but we decided to talk about it rather than surprise them lest they fear the Dr. and just showed them to let them know that Mommy and Daddy have to get their shots too... i don't know that there is much that helps nobody ever likes to get shots fortunately the kids seem to bounce right back...from everything...and they get over it fast too!! a little fun playtime together and it will be all in the past!
