My sons unit is off being trained for Iraq. Here in Oklahoma, our governor and the American Legion is putting together a chance to bring them home before they are deployed, to be with family and friends for the holidays.

Our Indian tribes were the very first to stand up and join in.

"It is wonderful that we have organizations such as the Cherokee (donated 35,000 dollars), Choctaw (donated 14 busses) , Chickasaw Nations (I am sorry to say didn't catch what they are doing, but it is big) and BancFirst is taking the money and holding it, also I believe donating to provide their support," Gen. Wyatt said.

It cost 600 dollars each to fly them home. If they cannot find enough money to bring them all home, they will start with the lowest in rank first.

They will need to raise 600,000 in order to do that.
I know it will happen. Our state is so good about helping. Not to mention proud of their own.
