I have been divorced for a year after being married 17 years. I have met a girl who I really enjoy being with. We went on our first date to dinner and talked for hours. She said she is enjoying getting to know me as well. Good sign

She is bery busy in her job and has told me that she wants to take things slow. That's cool I am fine with that.

My thing is I find myself calliing her cell or texting her all the time. She will respond to 1 of my 5 messages. I try to stop but I just seem to keep wanting to talk to her.

She told me in her last text message that we needed to get caught up on our 2nd date, so I am encouraged by that. I know I just need to be patient.

Any advice who be certainly welcomed.

Thanks......

Take it easy on the calling and texting...you may smother her.

You know what? Sometimes you can want something too bad to have it. And sometimes women only want what they cannot have. Now that won't help you at all if you're really wanting a relationship with this girl but she is not ready. Some people also do not have the same needs. I have met many women who don't have the same need for communication as I do. And what I end up getting is told that I am too obsessive and I should stop bothering her.
So I suggest that you go on with your life and let HER make the next move. Only respond to her text with one text. Give one, take one. If it's not going at the rate you need it to, then she may not be ready or the two of you may not be compatible.

Been there done that... We get happy when around that person and we just want to have constant connection... and in the end you end up pushing them away... try to relax... don't have to stop texting and calling.. but 1 time is enuf.. and she will call you back, or text you back...

If she's interested, you want to keep her interested, so just relax and enjoy her company... it'll happen if its meant to be.

Good Luck and have fun!
