hello everyone. a friend of mine needs advice. i met her on a chat site. she asked me to call her and here's the story.. her sister is in a relationship with this guy. the guy hurts the sister. she feels the need to hurt the guy. but she tells me that this guy is usually a sweet guy most of the time. while i was talking to her i could hear that she was really having a hard time composing herself. it made me feel good when she told me that just by listening to her i made her feel somewhat better, and that she wanted to give me a hug. i just wish i could've given her more help.

It's probably just better to be there for her to talk to. There isn't really much you can do as a stranger outside of the situation.

If the guy is physically abusing the sister- she needs to be told to get out of that relationship. No one should be in an
abusive relationship. It is really good of you to be there and
listen to her. Sometimes people just need an ear to listen to
them...

WB- have'nt seen you in here lately...

Most people that are abusive are nice most of the time. The problme is that abusive people are lashing out due to an insecurity about themselves.

I have been in abusive relationships before, and it deosnt matter how many timesd they say sorry, it will happen again, and again, and again.

If the girl is also experiencing her own tendencies towards violence becuase fo the person she is with, she seriously needs to get out of the relationship and then take time to sort herself out and get whatever help she needs.

Violence is a vicious circle
It just goes round and round

Hey Jose good to see you.

How are they being hurt? Mentally? Physically? Verbally? Either way they need out. But if its physical and life threatning, they will need to have officers involved.

Any abuse is not healthy and should not be tolerated by anyone.

hurting the guy isn't going to help.
She needs to help her sister realize that if this man really, truely loved her...
he would never think of doing that.

She needs to tell her sister that she is worth more that that and deserves better...she deserves a real man.

and her sister needs more than that...
that kind of sh** needs therapy.
