I feel as though I have a tiny hole in my heart; forever leaking a trail of blood, like an open wound in the water. A trail that only I can see, but others can sometimes sense, leading sharks to the kill or divers to the rescue. My dilemma has always been in deciding whether I'm a shark waiting to consume the confused and defenseless divers or whether I'm a fellow diver in need of rescue.
