I was in plenty cities in poland borders and definatelly best from large cities is Cracow. Plenty things to see to meet. And mst foreigners choose cracow even more often than warsaw , capital

The most interesting place to go is the Salt mine near Krokow. It is a great place to visit on a cold or rainy day. maybe it is the 7th wonder of the world
