I get it, I agree Igor. What is interesting to me is your view on what/who's behind this struggle over the concept of what should control reality itself. YOU GOT MORE?

Almost everyone, though most of the participants don't realize it.

The people who are doing it consciously, are what we in the Political Science arena refer to as propagandists. They are also known these days as "spin doctors," publicists, Press Secretaries, speech writers, Policy Advisors, Political Pundits, and so on. It's reached the point where it is wise to assume that anyone who makes it a point to declare that they are something like "fair and balanced," or any variation on that, are the people who are LEAST likely to have any interest in telling the whole truth, or to correctly differentiate between facts and opinions.

Right now, it's especially messy, because the idea of "fake news" (which is a real problem) was immediately pounced on and turned inside out by people with special agendas, and they are declaring anything at all that they don't like, to be "fake news." Propaganda is being declared to be actual Truth, with a capital T. People in authoritative positions are not only refusing to stand up for basic honesty and factuality, they are often trying to "fight fire with fire," only they are choosing to fight lies with lies, which just doesn't work.

But it makes reality itself appear to be what it isn't.

Special agendas like job security, power and wealth. Corruption fueled by greed and living good on the backs of all us tax paying citizens.
I don't understand why common folks would want to align with thier views other than lack of knowledge and insight to what's really going on.
And the HOLLYWOOD pop culture.

"Fair and balanced" I get that too.

Spin Doctors - More than meets the ear.

I'm no expert nor do I declare to be, but that's how I see it.

One more thing, so the political science arena has a total lack of integrity?
