Yeah,I believe true love still exist,it might take time to find someone who will love you back.just don't be too in a rush to love anyone you see, make sure your heart connect with the person that's all.

If you insist on being so serious and tough about it, you need to specify exactly what you personally mean by "true love."

it's well established here and elsewhere, that there are many MANY definitions, and some are very individualized.

By my personal definitions of it, the answer is yes. By some others I have known the answer is more like " no, don't be absurd!"

Most conditional love fails, not sure the "unconditional" one.

May I ask how would I know my heart is connected to her?

Oh in my experience it does and very much so! The times I have said "never again"when my heart has been broken and then taking the risk of falling in love again, I do not regret falling in love again and again, the most wonderful feeling and then the most worst feeling,

" better to have lost and loved than to have never loved at all"

Yeah, I never liked that saying. It makes me suspicious, because no one who says it, can possibly know what they are talking about. After all, if you NEVER LOVED AT ALL, you have no clue as to what it feels like to have loved and lost. And if you have loved and lost, you have no idea what life would have been like had you not.

Plus, there's one of may favorite mini-scenes. Have you ever seen Men In Black? There's a great bit in it where Wil Smith's character J chuckles and says that old "better to have loved and lost" thing, and the reply he gets from K is an impatient and angry look, and the pointed admonition: "Try it!"

was the reversing of order ("lost and loved") intentional ? because some of us love only after losing, sometimes ...

You can but it is rare . You could go 5 lifetimes and than bam on 6th lifetime find it it is amazing for a year than its over. Its like being in a movie fantastic .However ,is not owed to you another Mortal OWES you nothing. The same reason u went to the k-12 illegal compulsory education cult system for 18 years and were an obedient sheeple slave is the same reason u sit in ure house and think you lack something and need to enslave ure self to the big soulmate lie. U drank the koolaid and seriously youve created ure own hell cosigning ultimately a Reality that is not necessary to exist . The greatest atrocity is those who destroy themselves and ure question speaks volumes !!!!

I wrote this on 6/7/2017 about love.

Maybe this will help..

6/7/2017

What is Love?
Love is a force of energy, inherently expelled by two individuals attracted to eachother.
Love cannot be commanded nor dictated, yet it is a natural self-expression
It will flow passionately, seemingly flawless at times.
Love bears temporary pain, but should never inflict trauma nor leave bruises or marks.
Love must be honored, and preserved with integrity.
Love is courageous through perseverance, resilience,  and spontaneity.
Love is compassionate and empathetic, it is the epicenter of kindness and the manifesto of one's soul.
With love we all may thrive and achieve true happiness.
