If you want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and never say it’s not quite as good as his mother’s…
…then adopt a dog.   If you want someone who’s always willing to go out with you, at any hour, for as long and wherever you want… …then adopt a dog.  If you want someone who will never touch the remote, doesn’t care about football, and can sit next to you as you watch romantic movies… …then adopt a dog.  If you want someone who is content to get on your bed just to warm your feet and whom you can push off if he snores… …then adopt a dog.  If you want someone who never criticizes what you do, doesn’t care if you are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of his attention, and loves you unconditionally, perpetually… …then adopt a dog.  On the other hand, if you want someone who never responds when you call, ignores you totally when you come home, walks all over you, runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is selfish to ensure his/her happiness… …then adopt a cat.   Now, be honest, you thought I was going to say ‘Marry a man’ didn’t you’?

we had a puppy and when he died, my heart broke...cant bear to lose another one. but that was a cool post *********************************************** I know the feelings sweety  So was with my boy Jack after 17 years together. Gone in 2011 and still with me They live in our nice memories I won't have another one either.

Very good, Here there are arguments about so called designer dogs, huge health issues when there are thousands that need a home! ************************************************ Yes Mike, the truth is that selective pure breeds have health ishues. If I would have another dog, ( Which I WILL NOT ), I will adopt a mix breed ( Mangroll dog ) NO PROBLEMS

Cute pepi, And to be honest, I knew you were going to say "Cat" That describes pretty much every cat I've had *********************************************** LOL ..Pisces ...I love cats also, don't get me wrong. I have a ginger cat who thinks he adopted me. Not my cat, he lives in the neighborhood somewhere but I feed him It's okay, keeps the mice who try to invade my chicken's coop or parrots aviaries under control.

And my niece's cat adopted me... pretty much so she'd have a safe place to have her babies Cat's are cool

Which reminds me of Susie A local gal I knew a SUSIE once, who was after my assets & money too. ( Money I didn't have ) I can't believe some females are so vicious and determined.

A dog will sit by your feet while you read a book...a cat climbs up and sits on your book I love all animals, even my little family of raccoons. Adorable, but even more selfish than the cats

Well I've encountered both, over all I prefer the domestic pets. I've mostly had cats, I had a couple dogs when I was a child, but they died. My ex husband had a dog, it was a pain in the butt, cried from the time he'd leave the house until he got back... I divorced the both of them Not sure if I will ever get a dog again after that. |

Problem is today some let pets, as well as kids, DO WHAT THEY WANT TOO. Every pet needs training...That's not cruel. They are animals. I must admit that some humans needs obedience training also.
