.....Personally, I wonder what he ate.
Did he have Midwest corn fed beef flown in and ate steak every night? Hamburgers? Spaghetti? Beanie Weenies? Maybe there's Hooters in Asia?

Or did he eat Chinese food every day.

And then I wonder if it's like American Chinese food vs. "real" Chinese food.

You know how you go to a "Mexican" restaurant in the U.S. but it's really Tex-Mex and the food in Mexico is a lot different than just types of tortillas wrapped around cheese, meat, and/or beans?

I think there are places in the Forbidden City foreigners can't go.
So I'm wondering if there's like secret Chinese or Asian food that westerners aren't allowed to eat, unless they visit China or parts of Asia.

I wonder if the Chinese food in the U.S. is just what poor Chinese or Asian nomads ate comprised of whatever stored well or they could find on the side of the road and Chinese or Asian people come to the U.S. and are all "WTF is this? This is what my grandma ate in the depression. It's just deep fried crap and noodles. Did you know 'kung pao' really means 'dog food' where I'm from?"

I went to a Vietnamese restaurant once. The spring roll was ice cold, white, and transparent. Looked like a bloated dead maggot with partially digested vegetables inside.
So I ordered a roast beef sandwich to be safe. But it had mint all over it.
WTH did the French do to Chinese errr Vietnamese food?!

And what's up with Dayton OH's Chinese restaurants?
I've found one place with crab rangoons where they put enough crab, green onion/chives, and maybe garlic in them where you can taste it, but everything else on their menu tastes like crap. Every other restaurant the rangoons just taste like deep fried cream cheese bombs. And why does no restaurant have crushed red chili paste anymore, just crushed pepper in oil, or real hot mustard just those packets?


I don't know about Trump's Asia trip except what's in the news.
Hope he got some decent food.
Better he went than I did. I'd probably be all "WTF is going on?! This doesn't taste like Szechuan Palace Dragon Buffet! And where's the fat buddha statue? I wanna rub his belly! And why am I not given fortune cookies with every meal? I need the lotto numbers!"

Ever try Chinese BBQ? I went to a local one we have here. There were
