First of all this recipe has been modified by me to make it award winning. I will only give the original recipe here if you would like the other you may ask for it.

Preheat oven 400 degrees
13 x 9 cooking dish or casserole dish

Ingredients:

Large bowl to mix in
two bags of either shredded or homestyle hashbrowns frozen
2 lbs of shredded mixed cheese (Processed cheese works best)
8 oz of sourcream
8 oz of melted butter
8 oz of diced onions
8 oz can of cream of chicken soup
Salt and pepper to taste (I use large ground pepper or cracked)

Preperation and cooking

In large bowl add all ingredients and mix well
place in cooking dish and cook until everything is boiling and top turns brown. Approximately 35 to 45 minutes depending on each persons oven.

Optional You may add more cheese to top and then place back in oven to melt.

Let cool for 15 minutes before serving. Can also be placed in individual ramikins also.
