As CBS News reported Friday, Nike’s market value has surged by nearly $6 billion since the company unveiled Kaepernick ― who sparked controversy as the instigator of protests by NFL players against racism and police brutality ― as the star of a provocative ad campaign.

Nike’s share prices were quick to rebound from that initial dip, however, and in recent weeks have been performing near an “an all-time high,” CBS said.

The company has sold out 61 percent more merchandise since releasing its Kaepernick ad, Reuters reported last week. Nike also discounted fewer products in the 10-day period after the ad compared to the 10-day period before its release.

“[Nike’s] new ‘Just Do It’ ad campaign with Colin Kaepernick was a stroke of genius,” said Camilo Lyon, an analyst with financial services company Canaccord Genuity, according to Reuters. “This premeditated move was another subtle but significant sign of Nike’s strength and confidence in its position in the marketplace.”

More like a stroke of Soros $$$

The looney left is noted for pouring money into failed endeavors and antiAmerican causes [to inflate a narrative].

Michael Moores new movie is a flop, the new moon landing film with foreign actors and producers... leaving out the planting of the American flag... and trying to downplay the ingenuity and accomplishments of a proud America... typical of the socialist left policies the globalists (failed the world over) are trying to bring to America.... they failed under Obama with his entire [now defunct thanks to Trump] unAmerican political policies and agenda.

GO TRUMP! MAGA!

I doubt Michael Moore has anything to do with NIKE stock doing better and there is ZERO evidence Soros does either.

smh.

Great marketing on NIKE's part.

Yep.
Completely takes your mind of NIKE uprooting production from the U.S. to bounce around overseas finding the cheapest labor possible, using sweatshops.

But you can be proud they are such great advocates for women's wage equality in their factories!
I mean something like 75% of the workers at NIKE maquila sweatshops are women, and they all earn the minimum NIKE can get away with, with absolutely no possibility for advancement, and whenever NIKE needs to save money the workers are forced to eat the costs to maintain profits and protect the consumer.

Go NIKE, the epitome of soulless greed bought the facade of social justice!
No one said they were stupid.
