When did I lose
My faithful muse, Who always brought All of my thoughts Into rhyme? Once I could write As quick as flight, Gathering words Like flocks of birds In short time. Now I just sit Forcing a fit, Stare and glower Hour after hour At blank lines. Am I rusty? Mind all musty? Or do I lack Talent and knack To make words shine? |
