I've looked and I haven't found a means with which to stop notification of "likes" without stopping notifications of "messages".

Is there a way to stop "like" notifications without stopping "message" notifications?

If this site was cleaned up I wouldn't have issue one in supporting the site with a membership fee but as long as what I have seen continues I'm not wasting my money.

Edit: Just more options for blocking could help!

The 'like' notifications is just a game; not to be taken seriously and you can't stop them. Just ignore or perhaps play the game yourself and just click no to proposed matches.

What you call the game conflicts with interests in actually meeting a person of interest. My phone chiming off 40 time in an hour tends to be more than counterproductive.

Sure I could airplane mode my phone or turn the sound down but who wants to play Johnny come lately for what could be one of the most important things in a persons life.

I understand a guy can't expect much for free but paying debridement for it makes little sense.

there are only two check-boxes on "Notifications" as follows

Notify me by email of new messages and my latest matches at Mingle2 (recommended)

Send me relationship advice, new feature announcements and special offers from Mingle2

I agree with you Wylie, I too want only to be notified if someone
actually sends me a private email and not the "Match Game" BS
I had to take M2 off my phone because of the bell ringing..

there needs to be more choices on "Notifications"

You can turn off the notification in your phone settings for each app you have installed.

Maybe they weren't aware of this, and don't know how..

Since YOU seem to know how.....how about telling them the way to do it...

wouldn't doing that also turn off any notification that
someone has sent me an email from M2 ????

No. If you go into your settings on your device you can turn of the ringer only.

that's just fine if i'm looking at my phone while it's in my
pocket...I WANT the notification I WANT the bell-ring but ONLY
if someone sends me a message...that's it

is it that hard for the IT Guru's to add a check-box that says

"I only want notification when someone on M2 sends me a message"

"Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

<billing@mingle2.com>:
550: 5.1.1 <billing@mingle2.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table"

This site is a top to bottom scam, review has just totally sank, 0 out of 5 stars.
