hey hey hey he ws fighting two jedis at the same time
one on one neither could have took him

Half way through the fight they got seperated and Darth Maul was fighting one-on-one with Qui-Gon, after that ended it was Obi-Won and Darth Maul one-on-one.

Sorry man but the writers set up Darth Maul for a good old fashion "good guys always win" scenario.
i agree but obi only won by a sneak attack

The only fair fight is the one where you've already got your opponent on the ground. One must do what they must to win.

I just had a realization.

I'm online...in a forum...discussing Star Wars.

I never thought I would hit this level in the world of nerds. If five years ago you told me this would be my future I wouldn't believe you.

I'm going to bed now before I sink any lower.

No offense to you guys.

laugh

and devine beliefs then fair is a generic definition

I've heard talks of another Star Wars being made but not sure if it's true or not.i do think it would be cool if they made another one though bigsmile
that would totally rock farther into
the star wars universe like get to see ankin solo

well i think they need to fill us in more on the time between Anikin as a kid and when he grew up because you don't actually get to see what happened during his training years

Star Wars is way better. Star Wars is as much a part of American culture as apple pie, baseball, Steven Colbert, Ben and Jerry's, and Motley Crue. ...and those Budweizer "Real Men of Genius" radio commercials. Haha. I love those.

What is the saying, close only counts in horse-shoes? WEll being the fact that he "only won becasue" means that he was alive another day =) more power to him. There are no rules in warfare.

Has anyone read a book called "Tales To Astonish," by Ronin Ro? The author documents how the entire Star Wars concept was stolen from a comic book writer-artist named Jack Kirby.

Ro mentions that Kirby did a series of comics for DC in the early 1970s which contain a lot of material which was clearly "appropriated" by the Star Wars franchise. Worse yet, Kirby was never compensated for any of the ideas which were stolen from him.

If there wasn't a Star Trek....there wouldn't be a Star Wars......and by the way....you can take out your light sabers, and I will just sit here and take out my phaser and blast you with a ray that will make you turn a firey orange color and disappear!!!

So...Star Trek rules!!!

star trek is def. the best. picard is my fav. and janeway comes in second place. i have seen every episode of every series, every movie and even been to the convention (yes yes i know dorkfish) there is a lot more scientific thought that went into star trek than star wars which is just basically an outer space fairy tale. star trek is far more detailed in depth and true to reality.

GO TREKKORS!

Ok I have been on the sidelines watching now and I like both, but Love Star Wars...Sorry to say though the Trekkies firing on me had better be wearing blue or gold shirts.Since a lightsaber can deflect phaser fire back to the origin. Also can use the Jedi Mind trick to make you want to go home and re-think your life.Pretty cool in my book. Also the Force is a spiritual thing.Star Trek doesn't have much of that around.Need balance,Physical, mental and spiritual. However to the Trekkers Kirk was the first pimp on TV.Luke could never get Uhura and those green Orion slave women. So there's my take.

which is better star wars or star trek and y?

I am shocked you dared to compare the two........

Star Wars is and ever shall be #1

Why??

You would be gray and old by the time that conversation got half way finished....

First....the special effects. Desert racing ring a bell, that puts you into the drivers seat..... Star Trek....nada....
