How are things going with the new job, so far? Hope it’s been a good day!

Aside from being overtired, it was a good day.

The job is going well. I had a chance to speak with my boss about her game plan with me. She wants me to learn more about the spa and other things before starting my training as a receptionist. It makes sense. The are a Marriott resort and have very specific ways of doing things, requires intensive training. So I'm comfortable going slow and doing the attendant stuff for now.

My day was ok, just really tiresome ... so I’m just relaxing and getting some much needed rest. I could sure use a nice relaxing day at the spa!

I get spa treatments for a very low price... just the basic $135 massage I can get for $35. The one I want normally costs $205, but I only have to pay $60. It's a 100 minutes that is a combination of reflexology, massage, and Reiki.... Called

Is there steam rooms there, or jacuzzis? I would love to have a jacuzzi! I’d be in it every day that’s for sure

We have a pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, and there's a steam room and sauna in both the women's and men's locker room. Plus there's classes... yoga, pilates, water aerobics. I have access to all that but can't do it every day, unless we're not busy. It will slow way down after Columbus Day.

It's a golf and spa resort, so the price is sky high. Massages elsewhere can range from $50 to $100 at other places, usually it's around $65 to $80 for a 50 minute one. Most resorts are much higher though.

I am majorly due for one. I'll have to wait until Monday though.

That place sounds awesome! The prices are definitely higher at those kinds of posh resorts. I could definitely go for a 50.00 massage. That’s more in my price range

Yes, it's pretty cool. So long as we're not busy. I was really excited about it when I first got here, but then lots kept going wrong so I'm struggling to keep positive and give it a chance.

Ah no. Just one of them power showers. Basic model, but will do me fine.
