Anyone of you that knows me also knows that I talk about my beautiful little girl all the time and why not I love her. I have, what I thought was, a cute story to share with you about how children in general see things differently than we do.

Today my kiddos momma called me at work and said that my daughter would like me to come and visit her after work so of course right after work I ran right over to see her. After playing and chasing her around for a few minutes she looks to me and says "Dadda came we go to get a slurpy?"
Now not that I had but but I looked to her Mom to get approval since it was so close to her dinner time. She nodded yes and I said ok munchkin grab your coat and we are going to get your slurpy. After dancing in excitement for a few minutes she raced off to get her little pink coat. We got all bundled up and walk to the car and got in.
On arriving at 7-11 we walked to the back to the slurpy machine and I asked her what kind she wanted. She says "I would like a green one please" SO I looked up but no green flavor could be seen anywhere so I explained to her that they didn't have green.
Then it happens
So my 21 month old daughter gives me this look like dadda are you retarded or something and says "yes they do see!!!" and points to the small slurpy cup which is green.
So here I am thinking damn where did you get to be so smart and then she says " please fill it to the top with watermellon dadda!!" and points directly at the watermellon flavored slurpy.

I guess its just ow you look at things never would I have thought that she was refering to a cup but hey thats why we have kids so they can point out the little things that we take for granted right?

I just thought I would share this since I talk about her so much any way

drinker to that
we try so hard to teach our children everything we know but if we don't spend the time to listen to them and pay attention to what they see we let our own childhood slip away from usdrinker
