This is a requested thread. Since I had a post on "Hero" I should post about this too.

HEROINE
1a: a mythological or legendary woman often of divine descent having great strength or ability
b: a woman admired and emulated for her achievements and qualities
American heroines such as Eleanor Roosevelt and Rosa Parks
remembered as the heroine of the flood
2a: the principal female character in a literary or dramatic work
the heroine of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet
b: the central female figure in an event or period

First known use was in, 1587.
Etymology
Latin heroina, from Greek hērōinē, feminine of hērōs

As you can see this has nothing to do with a being a hero in the classical term. The person is a hero just by being famous or Sarah Bernhardt. For those kids who don't know who Bernhardt was. She's the one who got tired to the railroad tracks and needed to be saved. She did quite a few dramatic silent movies back when.

The modern way of using hero is: A person who does something heroic. So I'm a hero cause I've saved people from dying before. This is surpose to get me pats on the back and make me proud. The truth is that I never got pats and when I remember the moments I wish I wish I never had to save anyone's life. Of cause I would if I had to do it again.

Us Libertarians are starting to use the classical form of hero because of the Leftists progressive heroes which are in reality villains being the opposite of a classic hero. They reject reality, they make bad choices, they're selfish which denies people their due, they have no courage to stand by their convictions and their life's are a mess.

Us Libertarians are bias against Socialists. In my case I think they're stupid for giving up their freedom, some others say that a Socialist doesn't know if they're a Fascist or Communist and arthur's like Robert A. Heinlein just referred to them as "Bugs" in his book Starship Troopers.

Captain Marvel is the interpretation of a hero for the progressive left. Selfish, self centered and narcissistic. This and others are the new superheroes of the MCU moving forwards in movie production. So fighting the patriarchy will be the theme running through all of it. Just more boring and stupid gibberish as in the comics for years now.

If I was to write a woman superhero I'd make a feminine hero. She'd be a paragon of virtue and with feminine traits. As I mentioned in my other thread being virtuous can be obtained after accepting reality then work on prudence, justice, fortitude and temperance.

Feminine
While the defining characteristics of femininity are not universally identical, some patterns exist: gentleness, empathy, sensitivity, caring, sweetness, compassion, tolerance, nurturance, deference, and succorance are traits that have traditionally been cited as feminine.

Another thing I'd give her is poise and grace. This was traditionally taught to girl for self discipline. I'd all so have her use her resolve being clever and tactical only fighting when she had no other choice. She would fight as a man with heavy clunky weapons either. I'd also not have her dressed up like a S&M mistress.

So this is just a bit on the word and my viewpoint. Hope it gave you something to think on. It's up to you to decide for yourself on this topic.
