it is spooky, though

i just know that i get going
and doing things too fast at times...

i fell twice off the bike this summer....
once was cuz I was coming off of pavement
and did a u -turn onto gravel
and then in two seconds flat
{cappow} i was down

then later on i was going a bit too parallel
with the train tracks trying to avoid a pedestrian
and my tires got caught
in the grooves of the train tracks
and man that took me down fast
i was barely dressed too...
in over 90 - 100 degree temps
sandals, tank top, short shorts...
and i got road rash that time...
that still hasn't healed well

that was the worst fall
and then i fell twice since then
not on the bike
but, in some other brilliant endeavors
i am lucky to be alive

but you know i don't have much fat on my bones anymore ...
my neck back arms shoulders legs etc..are all very muscular
soo, when i fall, there is not much cushion
to protect my bones, organs & muscles, etc.
& i really need to take it easier,
to prolong my life
