I am a full figured woman and proud of it but hate it when you can chat with someone and they are cool until they view your pics.Why is that I am not ugly and I care because it continues to happen and its frustrating when your trying to find a mate.

If they do not like you because you are more to love than they are shallow and you do not need them, I have found there are alot of nice guys here , have some patience , it will pay off. Good luck !

Because love is more than just an outside thing, what if one day you were not the perfect one on the outside anymore but was the same inside, would you not want to be loved or give love the same ?

who wants a guy who is shallow enough to think waif is the only way to go? seriously. Don't break a sweat over it. Those guys are stuck in some fantasy that has been coddled by Barbie dolls and supermodels. The original ideas of the beautiful woman go way back to a time where wide hips, thick women, and a healthy appetite were signs of a healthy woman. No underfed, waifish, coke model who obsesses over weighing little more than her own skeleton should get you down.

preference and shallow are not the same but if you dont prefer say so dont ignore messages or act like I dont exist or you didnt see the message say we dont click or I prefer thinner women. I am in shape I just am not thin!

I came on this site to make new friends not looking for a 'potential mate' and I have gotten that 'you've got a pretty face but u should loose weight' thing...
I am ME...I love ME...and whomever chooses to be with ME has to accept ME the way I AM! It's a package deal!!!... the kids, the dogs, the birds, etc...it doesn't make me less attractive nor less of a person being overweight. I don't know about you guys, but I live very far from where u guys are and I honestly just like reading your posts and meeting new people with different ideas and of course a different culture! That being said....be confident in the way you portray yourself, have faith (it's one of the few things NO ONE can take away from you) and believe that if there is someone out there for you, YOU will find him or he will find you!! |

right with you girl, but quarry is right if the guy doesn't like you for who you are...then blah on the guy but there is all types out there, each guy with their own preference. Us females have preferences too, even if we don't truly know it. Everybody has a different description of what they call beautiful. I think all humans with a kind heart are beautiful, doen't mean I'm attracted to all of them...

It's all a matter of personal preference. Don't get your hair frizzled just cuz someone throws an "F" bomb at you. F*** that. Be proud of who you are, every ounce of it!
From what I've seen looking for a "Significant other" is like fishing in a lake full of small fish. You catch hundreds but none of them are big enough to keep. Maybe 1 in 100. So, let the small ones go. They're just talking Sh** about you anyways. And they don't like you for a physical reason. That's their right - nothing wrong with it. Perhaps they are losing more, however, than they think they are gaining by leaving your table... |

preferences are different md , I was not meaning you were shallow , I was referring to her saying when she has been talking for awhile with someone everything is cool and then they see her pic and then ziltz. I think if you get to liking someone for who they are , lets say you do not see a pic and talk for months and really get to like them , would you change your mind after seeing a pic ?
