PRAYER.

Prayer is a respectful appeal to God, a conversation with God. Prayer is
associated with devotion, trust, respect and understanding of one's dependence
on who it is addressed to.

The Bible says:

that one should pray only to Jehovah God;

that God is the Hearer of prayer. Psalm 66:19 - "But God has heard; He paid
attention to my prayer";

that He always helps those who make requests of Him. Mark 11:24 - "This is why i
tell you, all the things you pray and ask for, have faith that you have received
them, and you will have them."

Some people believe that you can pray not only to God, but also to God's Son or
someone else. But this is not the case.

Any person of any nationality, material or social status can apply to the
"Listener of Prayers". Of course, turning to God in prayer, a person must
believe in him and that he will help.

In prayers, you can confess your sins, pray and ask God for something, express
gratitude and make vows.

Matthew 6: 9-13 records an example of prayer to God.

God's answer to prayer can be seen when He delivers his servants from enemies,
takes care of their physical needs,
gives a person moral strength to endure trials ...

Usually a person turns to God when he feels bad, when he is in trouble. And when
everything is good and beautiful, a person forgets about God.

Is this right?

Does God hear all our prayers? Yes, Jehovah hears all prayers, but he does not listen to all prayers.

God listens to the prayers of those who exercise faith in Him and His Son Jesus. He assures those who keep his commandments and do "what is right in his eyes" that his "ears" are turned towards them.
1 Pt 3:12 says: "For the eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous, and his ears listen to their supplication, but the face of Jehovah is against those doing bad things."

But the prayers of those who disregard his Word and law, shed blood, commit other wicked deeds, God does not listen. The very prayer of such people can become a sin.

Nobody but God hears our prayers, they are intended only for him. Therefore, one can speak with the Father quite frankly. Even Jesus does not hear our prayers, although prayers go through him to God.

Therefore, pray without fear that someone other than God will hear you.

Prayer is a great power!
One must pray with faith that God exists and will certainly help those who turn to him.
Believers always receive God's help for their prayers. And this makes Jehovah God very happy.

But especially God is delighted by people who pray for others.
And these people receive the help and blessings of God doubly.

Why Pray?

Many people pray to God about their problems, but these problems do not go anywhere. Does this mean that God is deaf to our prayers? No, it doesn't.
The Bible says that God hears the prayers of all people, even those who do not believe in him. But He listens to the prayers of those who pray to Him in the right way.

Psalm 65: 2 says: "O Hearer of prayer, to you people of all sorts will come."
Some people say that prayer helps them to calm down, but at the same time they do not believe that someone up there is listening to their prayers. But prayer is not a psychotherapeutic exercise. The Bible says that: “Jehovah is near to all those calling on him ... He hears their cry for help, and he rescues them.” - Psalm 145: 18,19.
These words prove that Jehovah God listens to the prayers of those who are devoted to him. He himself says: "And you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you" (Jeremiah 29:12).
--------------------------------------

"... Persevere in prayer" (Romans 12:12).
The Bible encourages us to pray constantly, whenever possible. Therefore, God wants us to pray to him. Read Matthew 26:41; Ephesians 6:18. But why does God want this?

Think: how nice it is for a father when his baby comes up to him and asks: "Daddy, help, please"! Of course, the father knows what his child needs and what he is worried about. But when he hears such a request, he realizes that the child trusts him and needs him.

It's the same with prayers. When we pray to God, we show that we trust him and need his help (Proverbs 15: 8; James 4: 8).
---------------------------------------------

Jehovah loves to listen to our prayers. But he does not answer all our requests. What should be the prayer?

"When praying, do not say the same things over and over again ..." (Matthew 6: 7).
Jehovah does not want us to repeat memorized words and phrases. He wants us to talk to him frankly, heart to heart, openly and sincerely. Therefore, you need to pray in your own words and tell the Father about what worries you personally.

"When do you ask, you do not receive because you are asking for a wrong purpose..." (James 4: 3).
It is clear that God will not answer when a person asks for what He condemns.
Consider: Will Jehovah answer someone who asks for luck in the lottery? Of course not! God teaches us not to be greedy or rely on luck (Isaiah 65:11; Luke 12:15). For God to answer our prayers, our requests must not be contrary to God's will.

"... for whoever approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him" (Hebrews 11: 6).
When we pray, we trust God, express our love and respect to him.
The Bible says that when we ask for something and we doubt it, we get nothing (James 1: 6,7).
---------------------------------------------

We can pray anywhere and at any time, out loud or in our minds. And Jehovah wants us to call him Father (after all, thanks to Him we all live) (Matthew 6: 9).

To get your prayer answered:

1. Pray in the name of Jesus (John 16:23)
2. Speak from the bottom of your heart (Psalm 62: 8)
3. Pray in harmony with the will of God (1 John 5:14)
4. Pray for what you need, for wisdom, for faith, oh
forgiveness, ask God for help (Luke 11: 3,4,13; James
1: 5.17).
5. Pray for others (relatives, children, spouses, friends ...)
(James 5:16).
6. Thank God for everything you have. Because everything is from
him.
_______________________________

But sometimes it happens that you pray correctly, but you don't get an answer. What to do?
Be patient and keep praying. After all, a person wants to get everything at once. But God answers our prayers when He pleases, and in such a way as to benefit us, not harm us. Understanding and view of God on all perfect.

When people pray to God, they receive inner peace, peace, wisdom from God, consolation, strength (to endure trials), and always receive help.

Therefore, "knock and it will be opened to you, ask and it will be given to you."
