Anyone here interested in horses? Have horses?

I was and did in my younger days. Rode in endurance races. But man are they expensive and time consuming to keep up with. Food, fencing, shelter, grooming, etc. Etc. I must say, I really don't miss them now. I surely cant ride or fence no more.

Sure,I have two appaloosa mares that are sisters and a gelding quarter horse. Sadly they are at my families home ranch almost 400 miles away from where I live now being cared for by my cousins with the rest. Whenever I can I spend a week or so up there and ride a lot.

This makes me kind of sad....I owned two horses but I have a neurological disorder that has decreased my mobility (now my eyesight) to the point owning them wasnt safe so I had to have a friend take them. I miss horses so much. I still ride when I can but its not the same as owning. up before dawn to go to the barn, then back at the barn in the evening.
