On this holiday, do not feel sad,
Show off that lovely smile,
For you are one person, lovingly unique,
There is no one else that is just like you.

There are those who suffer, who long to be healthy,
Yet, there are others who seem to have it all in their grasp,
Whether rich or poor, healthy or not,
God looks tenderly after all his flock.

Our soldiers fight in a far away land,
To protect the innocent, the young, and the old,
With honor they stand for what they believe,
For peace and tranquility for all.

So on this Thanksgiving, feast your eyes,
Not on the menu, but on your strengths,
