It's just HARD being a good-hearted person in this world today. Those that aren't good at heart think you're a sap, nutcase, easy prey. WHY? Why do you trust people? WHY do you let yourself become so close with people that you've never met before? What the hell does it MATTER? Just be who you are and allow others to be who they are, keep the ones you cherish, leave behind the ones you don't.


I love people and trust them unconditionally until they give me a reason not to. I'm a strong person who has survived her own trials and tribulations in life, and I have done my best to help those that I love to survive theirs. I have a big heart, which I wear on my sleeve. Yes, people take advantage of me because of it, but I have my momentary lapses of bitterness, then I LET IT GO. Take your lessons from it and move on, with your eyes open as well as your heart. It hurts sometimes to be open, but thank God we make the effort to remain that way. If everyone in the world closes up, we're just doomed.

That is why it is very important to me to periodically tell all you guys and gals here that I love you and am so thankful to have you all in my life. We are not guaranteed another day. I don't want to leave a legacy of bitterness, hatefulness, resentfulness. I want the people who are important to me and matter in my life to know it. I want the people that I love to know it. That's the way I approach folks, that is how I CHOOSE to live my life.

I have to say that i agree with you here. You have to be who you are, as pretending won't get you very far. If you can learn from your mistakes and take what life throws your way unexpectedly. Then in the end YOU will be a better person for it. I have had a hard life, but i just smile and take away from it what i can learn, then move on. And now i feel like i am on top of the world, and nothing can tear me down, for long. I know that no-matter what life throws my way. I will get back up and come back even stronger then before. So relax and enjoy what you have to offer the world...You know who you are and what you have to offer others.... if they can't accept it, or except who you are.....thats there problem... Let them deal with it..We are the square pegs in a round world, the round pegs make up the picture frame of the world.
