One of the ABSOLUTE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS you can learn in LIFE is GOOD COMMUNICATION!!!!! This applies to EVERY aspect in LIFE! Anything from work to personal life, from friends to a spouse. WHY DO PEOPLE MAKE SUCH A SIMPLE THING SO HARD!!?? Say what you mean and mean what you say! There is nothing worng with just asking him..or better yet, telling him how YOU feel! Then if need be ask him how he feels. It's better than having to GUESS at everything. of course you risk "rejection" of not getting the same feelings in return, but you can also GET THAT FEELING IN RETURN! How are you going to know??? JUST COMMUNICATE!!!  This is the absolute truth. Communication is key. And if it is indeed rejection, Tawny, better to find out sooner than later. Take it from someone who is speaking from experience... your situation seems to be a very common one, as I have recently experienced something very close to this as well. I found that all you can do is ask, yeah, it's awkward and uncomfortable for a minute, but what ensues can either be wonderful or a let down and that's the gamble. Life is full of ups and downs... |

Another thing... He didn’t really seem interested in ME until he found out I went out on a date with someone else and was making other plans with other people. Is that a red flag for me or a reality slap for him?  It could be either or neither, but you mentioned something more important in a previous post. He is not interested in a LTR at this point. It sounds to me like you are getting ready to ask a question that you already know the answer to. Perhaps you did not like the answer... You are right... I may already know the answer but I guess I will have to ask the question directly... I don’t want to assume at this point that is what got me where I am now... If its rejection I get than at least I will know, right. And move on and date someone who wants to date me... I love life and feel I have a lot to offer someone... but I do hate rejection

I am working up the courage as we speak, I cant do it in person because of distance and don’t want to on the phone... is this some thing that can be done on line? or is that a cowards way out?

The fee is a hummer and a bottle of Tequilla! JUST KIDDING!! I don't like Tequilla!   Wow, hmm, thats a tough question. All depends on how comfortable you feel. if you think your chances of rejection are high, then computer or phone would be ok. if you think you have a reasonable shot he will return the feelings, then I'd wait til you were in person. That one can be complicated and only you know all the details of your situation. I can only give "general" advice. Good luck!
