Blackpools roller coaster The Big Dipper celebrates 100 years of continuous service today.
It's the oldest roller coaster in the UK and has the tallest drop! Oh, it's wooden too, not metal/steel... Might try to get up there (it's in the north from me) and enjoy the ride and the illuminations, the atmosphere during the illuminations is great, magical even when it snows too
