winx since you apologized i will let it slide, i know you were joking, but to some people think mental disorders are funny and that is sad. There are NO disorders that are funny, than again people are morons. ACOE stand for the Army Corps of Engineers. they are the ones responsible for locks, dams, levies, flood walls, dikes, dredging rivers and most other river related things. Thanks again to every one, if I need help i know where to turn

Thanks again to every one, if I need help i know where to turn Corn, You are right, it is a terrible thing to put down people with mental illnesses. I think that if people do put others down, it is due to lack of knowledge. I may, on occassion, make light of it - but never put down. I think it's because I have been exposed to it so much. See, my child is in counseling because Dad stands up child too much. We have a family counseling session tomorrow. The Ex is on meds and in counseling. Like I said, I have been to counseling. I have worked at Places for People. Most of the clients are schizophrenic and bi-polar. I have worked in the Psych Ward at the VA Hospital in Jefferson Barracks - with the non-functioning mentally ill and the Dual Diagnosis unit. I have a background in psych. (Occupational Therapy) - even was in the psych. honor society in college. Again, I would never ever mean to offend you on purpose. |

Oh get this, the doctor told me that the side affect of one of my meds is a rash that is fatal. Not what i wanted to hear lol |

no alcohol for me, i don't drink.
it would probably be a bad idea any way what with my meds and all. They warn not to operate machinery. So what do i do. i take my pills then it's off to work i go to operate machinery.

Cornonthecob, It's a good idea not to drink with certain meds.
Last weekend, a 28 y/o girl died next door to me. She had been drinking all night and taking Xanax. She didn't wake up. Sorry to be a downer on this one. But, I do want everybody to know about Xanax and alcohol. Happy Easter! |
