Lex I think we've talked about this before. I'm baffled by some of the people who have clicked "Yes/Maybe" on my in their MM selections. How the HELL do I come up on their lists?? And how do they expect anything to develop over 852 miles of separation??

I think Mike should just ask ME to write up the description of Mutual Match.

Actually, I guess maybe I already did here huh?? huh

It's better than any of the other ones I've seen, anyway!

On the MM thing -- I haven't really looked into it, but it occurs to me that I have no idea how you would go about adding someone outside your search parameters into your MM selections. There must be a way to do it, because I'm getting MM selections from way farther than 200 miles, people who had to have given me a MAYBE or a YES (had one from the Philippines yesterday), and I can't believe all these people are doing "whole world" searches.

Oh come on Lex - You know what the overseas ones are.
They're setting their search to "Any Distance" and just hammering on the "Yes" button endlessly. I'm guessing those are fake profiles and just ads for one of those international brides sites.

The actual "real" profiles here in the states are the ones that have me scratching my head. I guess it's just "luck of the draw" that you or I come up somewhere sometime on their MM selection list and they like what they see.

How else can anyone explain a woman in Oregon (I'm in Wisconsin) who is twelve or fifteen years older than me deciding she wants to meet me??

I know, I get that all the time! And I'm thinking "Did you even bother to LOOK at my profile? Because I can tell just by looking at the first two lines of yours that you have no idea what you're doing!"

I mean, MOST of the people who look at my profile never write to me. I figure it scares them off, and that's what I WANT it to do. But some of them come back and look, over and over, for months, and STILL don't write. And sometimes I just want to ask them what's the big fascination?
