How much time do the mavs need? If they don't do it this year it's not gonna happen. As for Cuban's deep pockets to keep Avery as coach?... Avery wants to be a champion more than taking Cubans money. If the mavs don't get it done before Pop retires I definately see Avery jumping ship. It's about trophies for these guys not the money.
