I just kicked my roommate out about an hour ago. He was a friend. not any more.

Best way to lose a friend, IMO: Move in with them.

Its a tough call. I lived with 2 strangers once and had no major issues. I also had a friend I had known for 5 years steal everything of value out of the apartment we shared. Obviously have a full background check done on anyone prior to entering a living arrangement, even people you think you know.

It can work! Years ago, I lived with someone (a female) that was a co-worker whom I barely knew. We turned out to be great friends and had the best of times. However, a person should always know at least something about a perspective roommate.

my best friend of 7 years and I lived together for a year.. we didn't talk for about 6 months when she moved out a month early while I was at work.. and had one of my male friends helping her.. kinda pissed me off.. lol

I'm thinking bout moving in with a few strangers when I get back from basic training.. altho I think it will be a few girls from my church (there are all kinds of adds on our website). At least we'll have one thing in common!

Be very, very careful.huh
