I'm 24 well just turned 24 in december....my sister had her first child when i was 18 4 montha later i started watching my neice..9 months later she got pregnant with twin boys! when they where 4 months old i got them...now my neice is 5 almost 6 in feb. the boys are 4 almost 5 in aug. i watch them 60 hours a week mon-fri 7 am to 7 pm. i cook them breakfast lunch and dinner and this monday i'm taking my god son who is a year old!...and for the last almost 6 years my sister has only paid my $100 dollars a month...i didn't finish school i had to drop out...its hard.

Honey it sounds to me like you need to stop being taken advantage of.

boy 60hours a week to watch your sisters kids thats real cheap.. you should charge her more or tell her that you would legally apdopt them as you might as well say there yours...... your raising them she not

well if you are living with her rent free and have other benefits...

Its not that easy when you have no back bone when it comes to your family.. and i don't live with her she lives with me and my mom....i have tried so many times to quit but you know it would kill me if someone else watched them and somethin happened to them...cause in turn they are like my own...

I put nanny cause it sounds better than broke a$$ babysitter..but i have asked her for more money she keeps telling me thats all she can afford.

till this september they are my life...my neice just started going to school this year so i walk everyone up to the school at 8 30 and go get her again at 11 15

love the kids..love ur sister..but it's pay fairly or u need to go get a job and let her see what it's truely like to pay bills ,take care of kids and pay to have her children taken care of by someone who she knows her kids r safe with....

I have bills in collection...why...because my brother needs help and there for it takes care of his 4 and 5 yr old...so I choose not to pay certain bills..so he can care for his family...

now I have a great paying job..I can do both..and still put some away and buy myself something..

I grew a back bone..took 6 yrs..my sister in law is a recoverd crack addict...

I went broke as well as my brother trying to staighten that situation out..

But before that I had to back out..tough love..it hurts but sometimes to wake the person up u have to think about u first..otherwise if u go down emotionally or physically then what good are u to those children..

And u deserve a future to..

Is she going to be there for u when u become a mom...???

6 yrs later..they r independent..except for the help part cause my brother is very ill..and that is different..he hates taking from me...so he is there for me emotionally and in any way he can help me...
