A. To block a user while you are instant messaging them, just click on the small crossed-out circle in the instant messaging client. If you block someone from instant messaging you, they will also be blocked from mailing you, and vice versa. Your mail filters will also apply for instant messaging — so if you are not allowing married users, for example, to mail you, married users will also be unable to instant message you.
