I've been asked that 3X, over a course of months, but still...what? Didn't know someone would think that, much less 3. I think Saturdays must be drinker drinker drinker days.

Was up everybody? City of Harrisonburg here now but raised in Staunton. The shenandoah valley is the greatest place in the world;^]

Wow, we are very close! Have to go to Harrionsburg for better movies and shopping. I'm actually in Draft, now and it's small compared to what I'm used to. Love some of the novelty & antique shops, in Staunton and the safety aspect in walking dowtown to The Dixie, without fear; but a little too far from family.

H-burg seemingly dwarfs Staunton, there is alot of places to shop here but we do have a bit more crime. hehe, I'm personaly fond of Glenns Fair Price next door to me, that place rocks;^]

I've never heard of it before. Lived in VA, the majority of my life, yet realized there are all these towns that I'm not familar with. Thanks, I'll check it out.

Really love the friendliness of the people here, just wish I was closer to family. Maybe not next door, but not hours away. Waynesboro is really developing, as is Draft, so I hope the housing prices rise!

Ah man, it's great, kind of a knick knack shop, lots of costumes, wigs, novelty hats, etc. etc. etc., I love it..lol. I know they've been trying to connect waynsburo with staunton for years only blocked by fishersville. I can't believe how long tho it took staunton to get public transport..lol;^]

I've only been here for about 3 and 1/2 years, so I'm still learning. Probably will move, just as I have it somewhat figured out. I also lived in Lynchburg for 7 years and never thought I'd find equally in beauty, as far as the mountain views, but have in Augusta County. I've bounced around in VA. Lived in Stephens City and Christiansburg, too. Hampton Roads will always be home, but I love the mountains! Wynsb. is growing so quickly, lots of new businesses in the short time I've been here. Surely I'm biased, but I find our state BEAUTIFUL!

hehe, I'm with ya on that, I've got more virginia pride than I know what to do with...lol. Especialy history wise, but I love the comfort of being so close to black bear on the skyline drive, it's amazing how tame the wildlife is up there;^]

My cousin loves wildlife.. (forest ranger). I like it from afar...wimpy me.
I grew up on the ocean side, with wildlife only seen at the zoo. :)

lol... You never know, the skyline drive might change your opinion, they're tamer than anywhere else I've ever been. I actualy filmed a bear with it's cub from a distance of about maybe 10 yards without feeling endangered, just amazing, even the deer will usualy let you walk up & pet them;^]

Bears, I'd so run. The cousin I mentioned deals with Black Bears and is getting ready for move West to deal with poisionous snakes...yikes! I love to see deer, especially the babies.
I'm more of a finch feed hanging, very small animals loving, Virginian. Not being raised around wildlife has left me a little frightened, of them. I get freaked about the 2 large dogs, next door. Like I said wimpy me. noway
