Well this morning my folks called me to let me know my horse (Danny Boy) died. I guess he died last night....but, they didn't have the heart to tell me on Valentine's Day.

I didn't know he was sick, but I did know he was old. I had him since I was 5 years old!

He was a great horse to have, and I haven't seen them come any better! He was my "big dog"....he followed me everywhere, and came everytime I whistled.

I was looking forward to the day my son was old enough to ride him...but, I guess that can't happen now.

I LOVE my Danny Boy & I Miss him!!!!

Write a song about him... Writing is my therapy for me in any given situation. Just don't call it "Danny Boy".

kt.. isnt it crazy how attached we can get to our horses... mine died last year.. and i was more torn apart than when my dog died... i miss him....

My condolences Mono

Well I had 2 horses, Danny Boy & Little Guy (creative names eh?...I was 5 when I named them!) Anyways I lost Little Guy about a year ago and I was heart broken, be he was kind of a little sh*t...for lack of better words. Danny was so faithful & kind....just a big lovey sweetheart!

Now they are both gone

I had them for 20 years.....they were both a big part of my life!

What makes me most upset is...Im In MN, what the heck do I do now? The ground in frozen solid, theres no way I can burry him! I don't know what Im going to do....I gotta figure that out this weekend.

Can u have him cremated? I had Simba cremated and she will be buried with me, I know a horse is much larger that a dog but, just an idea!
