How do I reset the "remember me" feature in the login - my daughter got
into my e-mail and was reading it today. I tried to go out and uncheck
the box that says remember me and then log in, but it comes back up
checked again. Any ideas? Thanks.

have you tried deleting your cookies?
this will delete all the files in your temporary folder and should
help,so give it a try..hope this helps

and if you dont know how to do this just go up to top of your browser,go
into the tools tab then click on the internet options tab.then delete
cookies and restart your computer.

Went in and deleted the cookies but still has the auto login - I think I
need to go in and turn off the notification feature to my e-mail when I
get a message. When I click on the message in my MSN e-mail that tells
me I have a message, it takes me right in, so think that may be the
issue. Will go in and shut off that feature next.

Just burns me that my daughter went snooping to begin with (she is 32)
and read some things she didn't like, now is mad at me.

Thanks for the input.

Deleted the all files while I was there, now do have to log in, but had
to turn off the notification to my e-mail - that left the door open to
slip right into the site. Now have to go to Google and search, then log
in. At least should stop her from reading anymore. Like closing the
barn door after the cows are out, but better late than never I guess.
Thanks for your help.

anytime Marie it's always a good idea to clean out cookies now and the
and all the files to help clean up the computer and free up disk space

I do it at least once a week but try to do it daily

I have deleted the cookies before, was trying weekly but would forget
sometimes, but no one ever told me about deleting the all files along
with the cookies. I run the defrag periodically also to clean up the
disc. Don't need any problems with this PC.

Thanks much again. Have a good night.
