Hope this is in the right forum...

Ok, I have a question for anyone who has any ideas about the topic. I have a degree in interior design and am thinking about going back to school for merchandising. I want to do more of the buying for large retail stores. Does anyone know what type of degree that would fall under? I have found apparel merchandising but wasnt sure if that would be the right field. Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful!! I also wanted to mention that I still want to be involved in the interior design field. For example, I would love to be a buyer for a store like pier one.

I work for Barnes & Noble, and a lot of their buyers have marketing degrees....
