Hi, I am pretty quiet till I get to know someone. Not much of a social butterfly by no means. i am not perfect, I do not make friends easily, friends from the past were mostly drinking buddies from the 80's and disowned me because I quit partying, The few non- drinking friends I ever had have retired to heaven. I can only hope I will see them again one day. I recycle whenever possible. I enjoy researching my ancestry. I occasionally add a coin to my coin collection I started when 8 yrs old. I do not hesitate to pick up a discarded penny. Since retiring in 2019, I now have 4 dogs and 1 cat that keep me company. I do not have my grandmothers green thumb, but still enjoy my houseplants, outside flowers and vegetable garden. I go to church every Sunday, but honestly I am still a work in progress. Oh, this is a big one for me. Sometimes I am serious, other time I am joking when I say if given the chance and I am on my deathbed, I want a case of Budweiser and a pack of Marlboro. My reasoning, I quit drinking on August 5th 1991 and quit smoking on March 10th 2007. Otherwise, I respect anyone that can drink responsibly. As an alcoholic, I can't and know it. UPDATE: Until one gets to know me, I just am not big on conversation with a stranger. And not big on long distance relationships, preferring a max of 30 miles, though I am easily in a position to relocate anywhere in the world if I found the right reason. I want, and have the desire and means of traveling the world. Just not alone. If you are still truly interested to know me better, write me. we can chat to start.
